AHA Certification & eCard

How do I access my AHA certification after I’ve already claimed the eCard through the initial email? 
Please go to the following link: https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards 

Where’s my AHA eCard? First, please check your Junk or Other folders in your email, being sure that you are checking the email you put on the roster.  If you have not received your eCard, you can call our TCC at 301-703-8187, option 1. 

I paid my registration fee for an AHA HeartCode Course and have not received a confirmation. When will I receive a confirmation? 
The HeartCode Courses are not automatically distributed. Each HeartCode Course needs to be manually sent. Please allow 24-48 business hours for Customer Service to send your HeartCode Course.

Clinical and Field Documentation

How can I turn in my clinical and field documentation (colored forms) and the preceptor training forms as hard copies?  
You can either bring them in person to Kristina at the Manassas office in room 201 at 8886 Rixlew Lane, Manassas, Virginia, 20109.  Also, if it is more convenient, you may mail them, attention Kristina Boberg.  

Pearson VUE

Am I still scheduled for a PearsonVue exam this week?  
Please call 301-703-8187 opt 3 to confirm your appointment.  

How do I cancel a PearsonVue exam?   
Exam cancellation policy depends on the exam sponsor.  Please call 301-703-8187 opt 3 to find out what the specific policy is regarding your particular exam.

HeartCode Course

I completed my HeartCode Course and need to schedule a skills session. How do I schedule a skills session with an instructor? 
AEC is not notified when someone completes a HeartCode course. Please contact our TCC, Kim Pumphrey, to schedule a skills session. She can be reached at tcc@aecare911.org.   

Taxes

I am filing my taxes.  Does AEC provide 1098-T tax forms?   
No, AEC is not a Title IV school under the Department of Education and therefore does not have a “school code”.  AEC does not qualify for the 1098-T.  AEC students itemize their school deductions against their income. If needed 52-2083982.
